Hippopotamus

Hippopotamus contain 2 words from greek languange . Hippo that mean horse and Potamos that mean river. So, hippopotamus mean river horse. Hippopotamus is big herbivore animal that live in water. But hippopotamus is land mammal. After the elephant and rhinoceros, the hippopotamus is the third largest type of land mammal

Hippopotamus has big and heavy body.  Its skin is black. It has 4 tiny legs, thick skin, small eyes, small ear and big head. Many people use Hippopotamus as a food. According to the hunter, hippopotamus is very delicious. Hippotamus’s food is grass. More than half of it life time is in the water. He just go out from the water for eat and avoid aligator. He always sink all of it’s body in the water
